Paulownia Products

Paulownia wood is light and extremely strong and has many exceptional properties hereby offering numerous advantages in many varied applications over other wood.

The low weight, elasticity and the modulus of rupture of Paulownia provides it with distinct advantages in certain applications.

A high ratio of strength/weight makes Paulownia irreplaceable in construction, shipbuilding, aviation, furniture, kitchen cabinets, surfboards, musical instruments, motorhomes, caravans etc...

All aspects of carpentry such as machining, nailing, screwing, gluing, sanding, sawing and handling of Paulownia are very user friendly. Paulownia does not splinters, crack or split and has an excellent take-up of glue and finishes.

Paulownia Assembled & Flat Pack Kitchen Cabinets

Paulownia wood strength, smoothness, lack of blemishes and high auto ignition temperature makes it the ideal wood for the manufacture of solid wood kitchen cabinets.

With an auto ignition temperature higher than 400 degrees Celsius, double that of most hardwoods and softwoods, Paulownia has a flame spreading rate considerably lower to most building codes.

Paulownia wood is water-resistant, light in weight, exceptionally stable, withstands warping, breakages and deformations. Paulownia stains and paints well in a variety of finishes, when stained it looks similar to oak.

Paulownia is highly resistant to attacks from termites insects, pests and rot, it is therefore ideally suited to be used in environments where these are a problem.
