Plant a Paulownia Tree
Planting Trees is one of the most effective ways to help our planet and reverse climate change before it is too late. Not only do Trees produce oxygen, but they capture carbon dioxide and other harmful greenhouse gases. Trees convert CO2 from the atmosphere into organic matter through photosynthesis, which eventually ends up in the ground as dead plant matter. Once captured, the CO2 enriched soil helps restore the soil’s natural qualities – enhancing crop production while reducing pollution. The UK alone needs to plant over 1½ billion more trees to comply with their commitment to become carbon neutral by 2050. Because of its capacity to store up to 10x the amount of CO2 of any other tree, our tree of choice to plant is the Paulownia tree.
